The law office of Richard W. James began in March of 2002 when Richard James left Morgan Lewis & Bockius to begin a practice attuned to the needs of his clients.

The law firm provides intellectual property advice and services to small and medium sized companies. The law office of Richard W. James has been consistently successful in intellectual property representations, including patent and trademark preparation and prosecution, agreement preparation, opinions, deals, and litigation.

We prepare patent applications in electrical, mechanical, and computer related technical areas and prosecute those applications to allowance. Our attorneys have all had successful careers in mega law firms and have electrical, mechanical and industrial engineering degrees.
 
We were big firm lawyers who formed a small firm to provide better quality and results at a much smaller cost. We are responsive to your needs and take personal responsibility for your matters, rather than divide matters between numerous attorneys of varying abilities.
